Hi, I’m Takneijah or as many call me, Tk🤎 Born and raised in the lovely city of Savannah, GA. I moved to the Atlanta, GA area in 2010. It was here where I attended college and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. I always had dreams of being a marriage and family counselor. However, I entered into the corporate world where I worked in finance for 5 great years. I loved my career. It helped shaped the woman I am today and I’ll forever be grateful for every promotion and every lesson I learned there. Even with my great finance career, I always loved everything beauty and skin care. I dealt with my own skin insecurities since my teenage years. Around 2015, while going to an amazing esthetician in Atlanta, I asked her what I would need to do to become an esthetician & even asked if I could intern along side her. She advised me it would be best for me to go to school in order to learn everything the proper way. I put it off because once again I had a great job, with great benefits, and with every promotion, my life seemed to be getting better. In 2020, when the pandemic hit while sitting at home working I realized that I was getting too comfortable and being very stagnant. It was then where I decided that I was going to finally do what I loved and that was to become an esthetician. Even with a few bumps in the road, I didn’t let it stop me from reaching my goal to help everyone feel more confident about themselves. Poised Esthetics was birthed because when I think of someone having Poise, it makes me think of someone carrying themselves with high standards and always being comfortable in their skin. My hopes when being serviced by me is that you feel and look your best self. Cancellation Policy

💎 BOOKING & APPOINTMENT POLICY A 40% non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments. This retainer will be applied toward your service total. Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. ⏳ CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance. • Any changes made within 72 hours will result in a forfeited retainer • A new retainer is required to rebook • If a new retainer is not collected at the time of booking, it will be added to your appointment total and must be paid before services are rendered. Same-day cancellations or no-shows: • Will result in being charged 100% of the remaining service balance • May result in restricted or denied future booking ⏰ LATE POLICY A 10-minute grace period is allowed with communication. • After 10 minutes: $15 late fee (if still able to be serviced) • After 15 minutes: appointment may be canceled and treated as a no-show Services may be adjusted to avoid impacting the next client. 🔁 PRE-BOOKING Pre-booking is reserved for clients who consistently honor their appointments. Clients with repeated last-minute changes may be required to book at their own convenience with a retainer each time. 👑 ADDITIONAL POLICIES • Please arrive without extra guests • Avoid booking with fresh lash extensions or wig installs • Photos/videos may be taken for content (consent can be declined) • If you have an active cold sore/fever blister, please reschedule 💳 OTHER • No refunds on services or packages unless at fault • Gift cards expire after 90 days 💎 PACKAGES Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Appointments booked using a package must follow the same booking policies.
